i want this book to be over i took a break and now i am struggling!!

this man just spent an entire page talking about BEES. we are MID WAR right now.

if i took a shot every time tolstoy went on some tangent and just ranted for 2+ pages i’d be dead.

tolstoy must think periods are as overrated as napoleon because why does this man refuse to end his sentences

prince andrey calling happiness and forgiveness a "woman's virtue" has no right being that funny

okay pierre is kinda growing on me sorry for complaining about how stupid you are pierre (it’s still true though).

i have come to the realization that this book is long!

this book needs more women stat

the way i adore every character except the main character (pierre please just shut up)

the fact that it took me ten whole pages to realize someone died bc i wasn’t paying attention the first time someone take this book away from me.

“He [Nikolay] really was in love with the Tsar” Is this book even real.

i forgot how half of this book is actually gonna be about war this is kinda intense

you know it’s a struggle when you have to break out a chart of how characters are related to one another

this plot is so goddamn predictable it’s hitting every single beat
