I had hoped this would be an enjoyable experience, but this one is becoming a chore to read. I feel like I'm babysitting a patient with Alzheimer's every time I pick it up.

This is disturbing. I hope it WASN'T a true story, but we can at least infer that SOME of it was real. I wonder where the contingents of #MeToo lemmings would fall with this story, seeing as how they pride themselves on being enlightened by science. Well, science can't explain everything. And though it's strange, I find it easier to believe this woman's story than almost anyone in that blight of a movement.

There are parts of this that border on profound and there are parts that land squarely in plain old dumb. Right now, I'm seeing a lot of dumb.

The premise seemed kind of silly initially, but Barbee's pulling the whole thing off well so far.

It would appear that the author of American Psycho shares the distaste of SJW's that many now experience.

I can't believe how obscure this series is, considering how it's even more cryptic and dramatic than the much loved Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice & Fire series.

I can't help but feel a little sadness at the fact that I may be souring on surreal fiction, or at least the unproductive portions of it. A noncorporeal form taking on the likeness of George Eliot but identifying as a woman? I can't do a fucking thing with that, Mikey. It's useless. Tell a story or go home.

Talk about a fantasy series that is under the radar! This is every bit as enthralling as Game of Thrones/SoIaF!!

Looks like we have another Brautigan imitator here in what is becoming a very long line of Brautigan imitators. This isn't to say I don't find Mammother engaging, but I hope Schomburg develops his own style with time.
