I want to shake every single person in these transcripts and shout 'Why can't you speak even the most rudimentary English correctly?'

On this issue Phoenix and I think frighteningly alike.

Guy raised by beavers in post-apocalyptic world. Sounds far fetched,right? Something amazing happened as I delve further into this. I forgot I was reading fiction. That's how good this is.

Reading the transcripts in this case has killed more brain cells than any drug I've ever taken.

Five pages in and I HATE the two main characters already. Why did the author think these were endearing enough to be the leads of the story? Still, I'll give it a chance. The synopsis sounded promising.

'The kid rolled over with a wince. George took his wallet out of his back pocket and flipped through the contents. About sixty bucks in United States currency. George was ashamed to admit that this was a pretty big score.'

'"Well, thank you Mr. Pollyanna Sunshine Sparklepants. Who needs running water when I've got a great big ray of optimism with me? Your radiant smile just fills me with—" A bullet came through their wall, shattering George's margarita glass.'
