I did not know this was a series, but it can be read as a stand-alone and the author gives you what you need to know from the previous books. So I am good.

I was a bit busy with other books but now I'm back in Gusta's world and so happy that I have another half to go!

First chapter read. A good start.

Amy Lowell has a really nice way to play with words and create beautiful images. Her use of color and plants is divine!

Oh, I fell in love with Emily Dickinson's words. I am speechless.

I really enjoyed Sappho's poems. They were whimsical and so full of passion.

"Come and lift my shaken soul to the sacred
Shadow cast by Helicon's rustling forests;
Sweep on wings of flame from the middle ether,
Seize and uplift me;" (The Muses, Sappho)

...and I was right.

While I like guessing the murderer in whodunit books, I will not be content with this book if it turns out I am right... I do not want to give away any spoilers, but when the whodunit is made to easy it's simply not fun to guess.

I have a suspect, and I am pretty sure I might be right. Unless it's a red herring.

Oh, how much I love these girls. Unfortunately I have to go to sleep now.

Uggh, I hate the adults in this book and quite frankly adults in general and how we care more about fitting in these boxes and in society than about helping other people or being fair.

I want everyone to read this book. I have to admit that I was worried a bit that it might be seen... in a way, but that wasn't the case. Cannot say too much because spoilers.

I feel like I write my updates chapter by chapter but I am having lots of fun with this book! I even have a few suspects.

I am having a dilemma... is a 3 star rating a good or a bad review?

I suspect everyone! Heck, maybe I did it!! But really, I am having a lot of fun, especially since this is the first whodunit I read where the MC is not a detective or a lovely old lady.

So little to go! Going back to reading now because the suspense is killing me!
