Such a great start, but somewhere in the middle I just lost interest. Gonna take a break of a book or two and then return to it to finish it before the book club meeting on Monday.

Oh, Bunny, in a weird way I like it when a book affects me similarly with how it affects things in the book...

I don't know what drugs Mona Awad put into this book but I'm hooked. Seriously, Bunny! I cannot stop reading it. The writing took me a bit to get into, felt a bit distant, but in a good way, you know, Bunny?

Oh, Bunny, I have a feeling I might really really like this. I'm just going with the flow, Bunny, and so far it's thrilling. Maybe he was right, Bunny, this book is up my street.

The writing at least in the beginning was a bit hard to get into, but now I'm hooked, Bunny!

It's a weird sort of start... I'm also trying not to set any expectations although, Bunny, I kinda have a lot of expectations already.

What else could I be reading for Orthodox Easter, right?

It is surprising how she manages to make me be interested in reading something I don't know or care about. Words are bloody powerful. I am quite happy to start my journey into Didion's writing with her early works.

I'm taking my sweet time with this one.
