honestly, i’m so invested in the story. wow. holly jackson really knows how to keep her readers interested. i’m so curious as to where the story is headed! it already has so many twists and turns!!

the poem on page 75. so heartbreaking. i am obsessed with the format in which this book is written. absolutely genius.

re-reading this series for nostalgic purposes. i used to love these books when i was a kid.

oh i LOVE this genre. and the strong female protagonist. and i also love that characters from the first book cross over into this one.

this book reminds me so much of ‘ daughter of the pirate king ‘ and i love it. it’s such an easy read. the characters are interesting and it’s nicely paced.

just found out i have about 500 pages to go… i like it, but i’m also shocked.

new bookclub read. i’m still a little confused so far, but i trust i’ll get a better understanding once i read more of this book.

it’s such a large book, it’s very intimidating if i’m being honest …

honestly, i had to. never have i ever read a single twilight book, but i still think that this is the most interesting one to read.

i like the writing style so much. i can’t wait to read more. it’s good and i’m intrigued!
