Not hating it as much as I thought I would, but I’m pretty far in and it doesn’t yet feel like the main character has much agency.

It’s definitely a lot slower than the previous books I’ve read for my personal Tam Lin quest. Not in a bad way per se (Mirk and Midnight hour my beloathed), but definitely noticeable. It’s not plotless, but at time it feels like there’s two different books in here and the author couldn’t manage to stretch them out into two full books, so she combined the halves.

And now I’m in the mood for Shakespeare

Took me a while to get the reference of her trying to get that copy of Romance of the Rose.

Saw this one on a list of Tam Lin adaptations. I’ve actually read another Tam Lin book by this author, so I’m interested in seeing how this one differs.

Insanely funny to see the book bend over backwards to establish the stalker guy as some vigilante for justice that wants to protect innocent women and children.....but he's also down to psychologically torture this one woman in particular. So goofy. It's reading like a Y/N fic, but in my case the Y/N part is actually just my name.

It's interesting to see a setting that focuses on much more minor gods rather than the usual stars of the Greek Pantheon. Not quite into it yet, but I'm ready to see it through to the end.

I think the perspective that this story is being told from is really interesting and a unique angle to approach this myth from. I do have to wonder how it will cover the rest of the original story though since Psyche herself is really the only character that was there for all of that. I'm wondering if Psyche will even show up again since she doesn't return home after this point.

Had too many people tell me not to read this, so now I have to. Don't know why it didn't occur to me that a character named Adeline would go by Addie, so that might actually be what scares me off instead of the stalker romance.

If I was born male in this world, I would just cut it off myself. I'm not taking the risk. Having it is not worth the cock ring of pain.

Hate being forced to listen to a man speak. The audiobook narrator keeps picking the wrong homograph too. It's "minute" as in small, not a measurement of time, my guy.

Almost finished with my reread so that I can start the latest book.
