I'm kind of disappointed. Noncon and breeding are fun when the dude's obsession is based on love or attraction. If he's just doing stuff to F with a girl he hates and he's hate hunching her, it's not as much fun. If I'm at 34% and the main characters barely spend time together, I'm bored

I'm over this book. It could have been 400-500 pages long. We got no real romance between the mains. Intimacy is sprawled out for some insane reason, and it feels like contemporary fiction as a result

"For the first time, I saw Kellan. The thing that made him breathe and bleed. Me." I'm kind of over Kellan and I wish this.is the last time we hear from him. I want a love story between the main characters. Not a memorial to a character who passed in part 1

She said it as if she had some ownership over Kel that I didn’t. It struck something fiercely protective inside me. Sometimes, it's really hard to like the FMC

“You’re a real asshole. You know that, Kellan?” She's just now figuring that out

"I’d decided last night, while tossing and turning in bed, to be selective about what I said to Tate. I wouldn’t lie, but I planned on bending the truth where appropriate." Really assholey thing to do Charlotte

Kellan wasn't good though. Memories and mourning hide the gross underbelly of a person's reality but Kellan was far from good and it sucks seeing the blowback from the pain he caused

I will never understand the point in rich AF boyfriend making the FMC'S life better and she gets irrationally angry about his use of wealth as a conflict. Like why be mad he moved you put of a mold infested broken down apt into his luxury house? 😕

This whole subplot with Noah was interesting at first, but now I'm with Dominic. WTF. Who behaves that way in public when you have a serious boyfriend? It's giving college antics and immaturity, not grown business woman

“Óchi, Ya-ya. I don’t fear her as such, and it’s not her strength that gets under my skin. No, it’s her stubbornness. Plus, she’s flighty. Quick-tempered.” I start to tick them off on my fingers. “Foul-mouthed. Crude. Lazy. Unsophisticated. And she tries to cover all of these flaws with an endless stream of sarcasm.” All the reasons I don't like the FMC 😀
