I don't read books with teenagers getting it in. Unfortunately those chapters are taking up more space than the couple I'm interested in. A couple at 48% of a long book aren't even together yet

This is gross scene and not how I thought Lis story was going to unfold based on Book 1. We haven't even gotten to the fake marriage yet.

Not going to lie being this far in and still having OW and working at the club is a bummer. I hope everything ties together like Book 3 did.

Oh wait, he was serious about sharing her....well, I guess this is where I say goodbye. What's utterly disturbing is how the MMC only cares to shape her into the image of his dead plaything/partner. The FMC is either annoying or completely losing key aspects of her being but not in a fun way. Then it's disturbing because you are watching a group of men manhandle her.

Sooo now she's legit morphing into a dead woman instead of keep core traits

"You’re close enough. You want the things she wanted. You’re not going to run from me. You will do everything I ask of you. You will be her.” I haven't figured out if I'm going to DNF or not but lines like this push me close to a yes

A FMC who jumps to conclusions....great 😒

The way this book casually drops insults to addicts is wild.

Oooo. I get it now. I'm meant to think she's rude and annoying. Other characters calling her out is making this fun

“Do you live in a corn field? I can open my own damned doors." .......that's right. Now I remember why I DNF this book in the 1st percent. The FMC was a witch

Sigh its not that HEAs aren't real its that Lia is just really stupid.

I don't think you need those types of warnings to not steal from people. Not stealing is the deterrent for getting caught stealing

“Love can be whatever it’s perceived to be" is pretty astute commentary

She's not that bright

The author does a great job of making sure I don't care about Lila.

It shouldn't have taken this long to read this book. Silas is batshit crazy and I love it
