FINALLY I’m enjoying this book

Don't look up anything about a murder mystery before starting it istg I just looked up a question I had on page 1 of the FOREWORD and the first search result was like oh btw lol the guy wasn't actually murdered it's revealed at the end that he had a heart attack! Fml I paid $30 for a Modern Classics copy of Pale Fire yeah don't do that

Hmmm OK it’s picking up. Not at all what I expected this book to be like though

How is this moving SO slow… I could use some words of encouragement before I DNF for the second time does it get better

Just keeps getting more and more entertaining, with so much drama. A ton of details/character relationships to remember but I’m having a blast 😛

Fun !!! But can be a bit confusing if I’m not paying enough attention. So much is happening, there are loads of names to remember and some political jargon. French historical knowledge would be advantageous which I (embarrassingly) lack. Might do updates every 100 pages if anyone cares lol? This will take me a while for sure.

Confusing, the constant perspective switches and ambiguous details are really testing my analytical skills. I almost want to DNF but the story isn’t boring. It’s just hard for me to retain anything (?)
