"Métis or Non-Status Indians are Native people who still identify themselves as Indians." Yikes. I found a few notes in the book that were just not true like the one above or they were inappropriate like an affectionate quote from Columbus about Natives of N. America.
It really is written for folks who don't know much about Indigenous people and issues with relation to Canada's history and policies.
