I think the Survivor of Fire is a smokescreen. Hypothesis: Sazed is the real hero. (Watch me going back and feel embarrassed for predicting wrongly.)

.....Meh. I thought Hell would be a bigger part of this book.

Survivor of the Flame is all well and good, but I still think Sazed will be even more important in the end.

I don't know how to feel about this. I'm up to 15 percent, but I don't feel any attachment to Anequs. I'm probably going to read a chapter a day until I get hooked. Got plenty of stuff to do, and stuff to read.

Ok, this is going to take me a while. This novel is filled with a lot of terms unique to the story that make the reading slow going as I try to create a glossary. It's the only way I'll be able to keep track of what's going on. For now, the most important thing is she's got a dragon and she's going to become a rider. (These aren't the right terms, but they're terms anyone can understand.)

Vin and Sazed have grown so much throughout this trilogy. This scene made me tear up. The girl's gone and grown up.

Another eARC. Decided to get these out of the way before I go back to Cunning Man. It feels like Ness Brown combined the beginning of Mass Effect Andromeda: Nexus Uprising and added Aliens to it. It's pretty great so far. Wish I could stay awake long enough to finish it. But it's time to catch some ZZZ.

I got this Arc from Netgalley and decided I needed a break from fantasy before I finished The Cunning Man. Best way to describe this is a twist o the plot of the Santa Baby movie, a Hallmark Christmas movie feel, and softcore magic to help add a bit of that Chrismas Magic. Romance is included given that I mentioned hallmark,

Listening to Russell Johnson's narration on Spotify, makes this book fly by. His Bruenor voice is perfect. Wulfgar is ok, and Drizzt is Drizzt.

This book pulls me in and then hits me with a detour. Hopefully, it picks up speed now that we have a more concrete idea of what's happening.

Awesome read so far. I feel so bad for Ashok, though.

I tried the audiobook, but it just doesn't work. So slow reading in the night after work it is. This book is good, it's just suffering from a bad audiobook.

I try to take a break, but Drizzt just pulls me back in. This seems like a good stopping point.

Ok. I just went through a John Wick scene in an Epic Fantasy novel. Awesome!
