Interesting read so far. I wouldn't call this a typical parenting book so much as I would call it a "for your consideration" book. It's not pushy or preachy. A lot of the French parenting practices are in line with how my husband and I already plan to raise our children. I recommend.

This is a tearjerker. I guess I should have expected that. It's an excellent book but I need to read something happy after this.

Let it be mentioned that this is the abridged, supermarket edition of this book which is about 50 pages.
