The first couple of issues were a little rusty, but that Gail Simone magic is starting to shine through now!

I know I should be annoyed that this book features a monster with a hideous grin who is actually named "BigGrin", but somehow that just makes me love this book even more! :)

I'm really enjoying this book, although it would be nice if there were some female characters getting time in the spotlight. Except for a couple quick appearances by Cattie-Brie, Icewind Dale has been one giant sausage fest so far!

This is a fun read so far, although it doesn't really compare to Gail Simone's stellar work on Birds Of Prey or Secret Six. The Mirror pales in comparison so some of her genuinely creepy villains like Junior.

Oh, my, there are so many fascinating characters in this book...it's like a much less-creepy version of "Game of Thrones"!

Every time I start to read a book by R. A. Salvatore, I ask myself the same question, "Why didn't I start reading this years ago?!?"

This book is quite a bit darker than the last one was...dare I predict that "Double Cross" will wind up being "The Empire Strikes Back" to the first book's "Star Wars"?!?

I'm only one chapter in, and already there's been a creepy villainess who can invade people's dreams, a trio of serial killers known as the Dorks, witty banter, and a moral quandry about mentally altering an accused criminal who may not be entirely guilty...looks like this book will be another fun ride by Carolyn Crane :)

I really hope Mara Jade makes it into the next Star Wars movie!

Glad I gave this book a chance! For the first time in a long time, I'm actually enjoying Star Wars again!

This book can be a little slow in parts, but I have to give Timothy Zahn credit...just as my interest starts to wane, he does something really cool that sucks me right back in!

When I read Luke Skywalker's dialogue, I hear Mark Hammill's voice...but it's the voice he used as The Joker in the 90s Batman Animated Series! I realize I'm reaching many levels of geekdom here!

Hmmm...interesting that Grand Admiral Thrawn is such a cool and collected nemesis...nice contrast to Darth Vader!

All the speculation that the next 3 Stars Wars movies will be at least somewhat-based on the Thrawn trilogy has inspired me to FINALLY check this out!

I've read other books where an elf fights a dragon...but having an elf IMPERSONATE a dragon?!? Now THAT was creative, Mr. Salvatore :)

I really hope someone makes a movie based on the Dark Elf Trilogy someday...the battle of Mooshie's Grove would look so cool on the big screen!

Salvatore is doing a phenomenal job establishing Drizzt as a stranger in a strange land...loved the idea that since Drizzt had lived underground all his life, now that he's on the surface, he had no idea what winter was or how to prepare for it!

I don't think I've ever seen an author write more beautifully detailed action sequences than R.A. Salvatore!

Incredibly detailed action sequences...compelling drama sprinkled with humor...oh, Mr. Salvatore, how I've missed you!
