Okay, the first half of this book was really good, but there's way too much padding in the second half! Get to the point, already, Ms. Eskridge, zombies don't even lumber around this much!

To keep sane while in solitary confinement, Jackal imagines herself in various scenarios, including conducting an orchestra. I have that same daydream, except when I do it, I'm singing for Iron Maiden...and I make this face in the mirror as I do it...

I'm finding Snow to be far more interesting than Jackal...hmmm, a supporting character completely overshadowing the main character, where have I seen that before...

Whoa...that person sure went from hero to villain in a hurry...it's almost like watching pro wrestling, except this book is more believable (which is sad, considering the book is science fiction)!

I've heard a lot of great things about this one, hope it lives up to the hype! :D

So much of this book is the result of John & Dave's bad decisions. I guess it's true, bad decisions really do make for great stories...

Some of Wong's creepy imagery (like the old man watching Dave through the TV) makes reading this feel a lot like watching an M. Night Shyamalan movie...except the book isn't boring!

Heh, heh, in a scene where John fights off unholy monsters by swinging a chair at them, he keeps making awful puns like, "You've just been sentenced to the chair, motherf**ker" and "Thanks for donating you blood to chair-ity, a**hole"! I laughed MUCH harder at this sequence than any grown man should! :P

Not only was I about to be discovered lurking around a restricted crime scene, but my arrest for said offense was about to be broadcast on live television. It would literally be the worst job of secretly sneaking into a restricted area in recorded history. HA! I think even all my overseas friends just heard me cackling over that one! :D

John and David tried to exorcize an evil spirit by playing a Whitesnake song?!? I don't understand...why would a ghost be repelled by something so...so AWESOME?!?
