I stayed out of A-Fib for over 48 hours and am now home. Hopefully the doctors have the medications figured out this time and there will be no more hospital stays in my near future. Glad to be back! :D

Sadly, I fell back into A-Fib, I've been in the hospital the last couple of days! :( The doctors say this happens often after heart surgery, hopefully they'll get this all figured out and I'll be back on GR soon! Miss you all!!!

Every time Rand, Mat, and Perrin work together on something, it seems to turn out like this...

"I will wait for you on Toman Head. If you refuse to follow, I will hound those you love until you face me. I will see you dead at last, Rand al'Thor. And then the world will pay for what was done to me."

DUN-DUN-DUUUUN!

"She is Aes Sedai?" he said disbelievingly. He never saw the casual backhand blow coming. He staggered as her gauntlet split his lip.
"That name is never spoken," Egeanin said with a dangerous softness. Her eyes made ice seem warm.

I'M FREE!!!

Pleased to announce the hospital was able to get my heart rate under control and I came back home last night!

I may be offline for a couple of days, but I'll let you all know once I'm back on my feet again. Hopefully my heart will stop acting like a jerk soon!

Sad to announce I'm back at the hospital. :( I went back into A-Fib this morning, which the doctor's warned was a possibility after the recent surgery. The hospital was able to get my heart rate back down with medication, but I'm still being admitted for now.

The Forsaken's sunken eyes widened, and he tottered back. "You cannot! It cannot be!"
Grimly, Nynaeve started toward him. And the Forsaken fled.

Nynaeve just terrorized one of the Dark One's strongest agents. That is so badass!

"The Game of Houses, some call it. The noble Houses do things they think will help them or hurt an enemy or both. Usually, it's done in secrecy, or if not, they make it seem as if they're doing something other than what they are. That's the way of the Game of Houses. You never know..."

Egwene begs Nynaeve to keep her temper in check. In turn, Nynaeve insults and threatens the most powerful woman in the land. Don't know how to break it to you, Egwene, but that was Nynaeve keeping her temper in check! Nynaeve makes this cat look downright cheerful!

The surgery went well and I'm back home! I'm still in a lot of pain and discomfort, but at least the worst is behind me now and I'll get better in the days ahead. Glad to be back on GoodReads, one week away from you wonderful people is one week too many!

But seriously, thank you to everyone for all the cards, books, messages, comments, best wishes, and positive vibes! I'm going into this surgery tomorrow in much better spirits thanks to you all. I'm very lucky to have friends like you! :)

Tomorrow is the big day! I may be offline for the next few days, since for heart surgery I'm sure they'll be giving me the best anesthesia possible...

YES! She was absent for most of the beginning, but it looks like Nynaeve is finally in the thick of the action where she belongs. I'm so happy to have Nynaeve back, right now I'm more excited than this guy...

That awkward moment when you stumble upon a dark secret of someone you trusted...
