All these Aes Sedai scheming up so many different ways to make Nynaeve angry so she can overcome her mental block... Were these people not paying attention the last five books?! Pissing off Nynaeve is NOT that hard to do!

The Amazing Veronica and The Awesome Evgeny convinced me to try this. Time to find out how smart I really am!

Intriguing start! It's been a busy week, but I should finally be able to make some real progress with this book today!

Nice to see Mat finally putting his cleverness and planning abilities to good use. He's grown up quite a bit since the days where he would spend ridiculous amounts of time and energy just to pull pranks. Not that I don't appreciate a good prank at times...

Starting my next group read with the "Diversity In All Forms" group! Judging by all the great reviews this book is getting, it sounds like we'll all have a hard time putting this one down! :D

How people see you first is what they hold hardest in their minds. It is the way of the world. If they see you step down from a throne, they will remember that. But if they see only a shepherd first, they will resent him stepping up to his throne later, whatever his right, whatever his power.
