Oddly, the first thing I noticed was that her hair was no longer the shocking shade of purple it had been the night we met at the opera.

Normally I'd mock Eric for noticing something like hair color while running for his life, but in this case I can't fault him... purple hair is glorious!

Happy Monday! I went with a yoga-themed tie to start my week out right. Namaste, everybody! :)

In a cruel land, you either learned to laugh at cruelty or spent your life weeping. The Aiel had learned to laugh long since. Besides, shaming an enemy was considered an art.

The Aiel find people's shame funny? They would have loved the internet, especially for gifs like this!

Finally saw the "Wonder Woman" movie, and it not only lives up to the hype, the movie surpasses it! Gal Gadot brings so much strength and inspiration to the role, as well as compassion and even innocence at times. The movie was...well...wonderful! :D

"Do you mean to go chasing after a Forsaken like some fool hero in a gleeman's fool story? Maybe tie up all the Forsaken at one go? Win the Last Battle while you're at it?"

I think she's saying they'd be fighting a losing battle, like me when my nephew asks me to play video games with him!

I heard a sound coming from within-a low sibilant sound, like the hiss of a snake...a very large snake. My only thought was that this couldn't be happening.

Sometimes you read part of a book and know it will stay with you forever. That's how I feel about the amazing "Opera Phantasmique" sequence! Bravo, Melika! Even Clint Eastwood would be giddy with excitement after reading that!
