Hmmm... pretty sure your brother was actually playing the other guy!

The Wise One entered the tent. Sky blue eyes met Verin's. A winter sky. She picked up Verin's notebook.
"Some pretty drawings and a great deal about plants and flowers. I see nothing concerning the questions you were sent to ask."

Those Wise Ones sure know how to make a dramatic entrance!

It only took seven books, but Mat has finally learned some manners! Soon he may even be as polite as these guys:

I did a little more writing recently, my lead villainess is about to make her entrance. This prologue of mine just keeps getting longer and longer, I think maybe the Wheel of Time books with their 80+ page prologues have been a bad influence on me! XD

Maybe one day we will live in a world without hate. A world where we don’t turn on the news with a sense of dread, wondering how many innocent lives were taken today. Hatred has cost us so much. Sending prayers and healing wishes to all the people affected by the horrible mass shooting in Las Vegas.

Cadsuane was the first to overcome shock. Her arms rose,
shaking back her shawl, her hands made a twist, and a ball of fire seemed to shoot upward from each palm, streaking into the mist.

Note to self: Start using the phrase "a pillow stuffed full of haughty" in everyday conversation!

Wow, she's tough! I don't think I'd react so calmly if I had to face The Spider (or any spider, really)!

I just finished Book The Second, and those last 20 pages were so scary, I may never be able to turn the lights out again! :o

His fangs brush against my neck. It is the last sensation I know.

That whole sequence is one of the scariest things I've ever read! My heart is racing! I'm gonna have to watch something cheerful like The Muppets just to try to calm down now...

One of the Forsaken scared by pigeons? Who knew pigeons were so tough?!

He had heard a saying on several women's lips back home, usually when he had done something that looked fun at the time. "Men teach cats curiosity, but cats keep sense for themselves."

Not all cats hang on to their sense, Mat (which is good, since we then get entertaining gifs like this one)!

Happy to announce my father has completed his last round of chemotherapy! He's doing great, so we expect a good prognosis! Hopefully this will be the last round of chemo he ever needs!
