Here we go on another adventure. Let’s hope this one is as good as the first.

Huh… atomic bomb and Trashcan Man. Didn’t see that coming.
Oh, and I take back what I said about Tom. Was honestly one of my favorite parts when he showed up to help Stu. He's the hero we deserve, and also the one we need right now.

After I’m done I think I’ll read the second Children of Time book or continue my Dark Tower adventure by reading The Eyes of the Dragon. We’ll see how I feel at the end of this one.

Book 3! Chapter 61. Thankfully I have the audiobook because I wasn’t the biggest fan of most of book 2 and I’ve been busy so I haven’t the time or motivation to read much. But NOW I back in and invested. Book 3 is looking to be pretty crazy and intense. I can’t wait.

Trashcan man seems like he’s gearing up to be one of if not the biggest antagonist for our heroes. Fitting too that the city where essentially the devil is located is Vegas.

Stu and Fran. Then Harold seemingly joins the dark side. Not surprising honestly. Just interesting that some people are compelled to go to Mother Abigail and are haunted by the dark man while others, like trashcan man and now Harold, are compelled to go to the dark man. This book just keeps getting more and more interesting.

Huh… Who thought you could actually almost do a successful appendectomy in a post apocalyptic world 🤔

Chapter 45. Mother Abigail is preparing for company. Sounds way more sinister than it actually is. Nice sweet old lady waiting for her guests so they can out run the bad man in their dreams.

Chapter 45. That last one was way too long. Here now we get to actually meet the good lady in their dreams. As opposed to the scary man in black who’s chasing them.

Larry and crew made it to where Fran used to live. Definitely seems to be setting up a chase and eventual meetup. Also… WHY IS THIS CHAPTER SO LONG?!?!

Chapter 44. Update right before bed. Looks like Larry is getting some company. And my god. This chapter is ridiculously long.

So there’s the wandering man in black guy AND the old lady who plays the guitar? Both are real? Are they the only ones getting into their dreams or are there more? I’m not even halfway through. I have so many questions…

Fell asleep reading. I think I was where Larry had just ditched his motorcycle and trying to figure out what to do now.

Chapter 44. Julie Lawry. Yikes…

Ok fine. I don’t want him to die after all. But he was still annoying when we first met him. He saved Nick’s life and I like Nick, so Tom can stay. For now…

Please tell me Tom Cullen gets less annoying or dies soon. I can’t take anymore M-O-O-N or My Laws and I just met him.

Book 2. Chapter 43. Groups are just meeting up and King is already planting seeds for an inevitable breakup.

Chapter 41. Everyone’s on the move. Nick is all healed up. His ordeal reminds me somewhat of Roland’s in the second Dark Tower book. Wonder if Nick’s inspired Roland’s?

Chapter 38. Second epidemic. Yikes…
