Episode 3 was a fantastic adaptation and update on the Medusa chapter as well as it giving some excellent conflict between the trio to cement their friendship at the start of their journey.

Wow, episode 2 gets through a lot, skipping passed some exposition stuff to get the story rolling.

I love all the camp half blood stuff. Luke, Annabeth and Clarisse are excellent.

I'm loving the show, watched both episodes 3 times now. Loving reading through and annotating the book as I go. I'm having a whale of a time.

"Your Dad's calling"

Reading along and annotating the book as the show goes along. It took me over 2 hours to watch the first episode, I.e. the first 4 chapters of the book.

I loved every character depiction and the adaptation of the opening of the story.

I adore Sally Jackson which makes the end so much more heart breaking. I loved this episode so much!

Bring on episode 2!

The year after the fall of starlight. I love this series so far. 1 issue left and I love Charles Soules look at the year between phase 1 and 3. Half wish I didn't know what I know from eye of darkness while reading this, and there are definitely tie ins you must read along with this especially for issue 3. But I love that we're catching up to EOD. Again sad I can't count this for 2023, the book ends next year.

1 issue remaining of this series, coming in January. A little annoying I can't count this book for this year's count as it won't finish till next year.

Can't say I'm sad to see this one finishing. I get that some people loved it. But this series just hasn't been my cup of tea.

In anticipation of the show next week, I bought a brand new copy of the book. My old copy was getting old and falling apart. I decided to take the old copy, make a new cover for it, and annotate the heck out of it as the show goes along.

Is that a little excessive? Sure. But I've loved these books since I was younger than Percy and am excited for this new ride.
