The first half as a rather detailed account of the nature and tediousness of scientific work and discoveries, that might be too detailed for a non academic reader. The second half picked up the pace significantly. Overall a good scientific memoir, and an interesting account of Pluto’s and other relevant non planet fates. 4 stars for an academic/scientific audience, 3 stars for general audience
