See, when someone who takes photos for periodicals says "I'm not a journalist, I'm a photographer" I immediately think of Steve McCurry and that is not a compliment

1) dont knock polynesian food until you've tried it
2) while I'm not Samoan, it is a sort of sister culture and I know/am related to many Samoans. I have never heard of sea. I dont doubt it is a thing but it's weird that this is the one Samoan food the author names when there are other more common foods
3) it is apparently made of sea cucumber not sea slug - there is a difference

Another me problem: Dying declarations are not the only exceptions to the hearsay rule. To quote the textbook I happen to have on hand "...several important exceptions include admissions (including confessions), spontaneous statements, and dying declarations."

Me problem: No they would not call the fire dept to hose down a bloody sidewalk. For one thing that is some hardcore illegal discharge (the RWB fines would be crazy for that kind of negligence) and for another there are people for that. At minimum, it would be a Public Works call, but most likely would be contracted out.
