Learning more about chess than life. I feel like it's a lot of fluff indeed. It really could be turned into a good chess book with chess annotations and games. But he's really talking in general terms about some parts of chess and uses metaphors and analogies to relate it to business or some historical event. Not much to learn here really.

Very interesting about decision making and how it impacts the results. Similar to the book about world war I was reading where it was trying to untangle who was responsible by looking at everyone's decisions. It can be a mess sometimes. Just because you make a decision doesn't mean it will have the impact you intend. That's why you need feedback to see what the effect was and modify your future actions in response.
