so confession I didn’t enjoy global examination as much as everyone else seems to but still holding a lot of hope I’ll like Panguan eeekk

omg i LOVE the mystery thriller element to it while also unraveling the history of the mc and ml

I love the cages 😭 this gives out the vibes of KOD and istg it's one of my favourite danmeis, like Lin Qiushi had to go through doors, here cages are quite important, I'm kind of liking all the foreshadowing of Wen Shi's past and ofc of Chen Budao which we can obviously know is Xie Wen.

my thought so far:
i essentially know nothing about panguan before picking it up. i thought it was gonna be historical but! it actually has a modern setting, it's horror with a touch of comedy, i know damn well it's gonna be angsty as fuck, and i'm loving it!!!

Done with arc 2, why is this so addictive? The setting is so well done I'm getting obsessed.

We'll we are already done with arc 1 & I have thoughts 😩 like wen shi & xie wen are connected centuries ago that's for sure...also the fact that xie wen is the infamous chen budao everyone keeps talking about.. I'm excited to see their development

my issue with danmei as of late is that i’m incapable of savoring it because the urge of binging is too strong 💀 but every danmei i tried to binge these last few months has been dnfs or 2 star reads

so i am determined to take my time with this because i already love the setting & plot & characters. it’s so so good already i just know that it’ll probably end up as a new favorite of mine
