So far it’s exactly what I expected as a sequel to the series’ first book. The MMC has some great qualities; he steps in to defend a stranger and has a strong sense of duty. Unfortunately he also has some uncomfortable issues with women; mainly some misogynistic views about the ‘drama’ women create. The FMC is similar, moments of strength and will but also let’s her family and ex walk all over her.
