I hope that Ezra and Terrence will get their relationship back on track; Ezra isn't being evasive because he can't trust Terrence. And he (meaning Terrence) doesn't understand that. 😔

It looks like Bea wasn't physically harmed by the Mystery Guy after all. But I get the impression that he harmed her emotionally.

Hurt puts your pride on the line, and I know the damage that can cause.

This is true and relatable.

Bea made it clear to Ezra that Jessica Wei had empathy and compassion for him because she experienced abuse in her family too.

I like that Bea feels hopeful in her new life especially after she endured so much abuse.

The fact that she's meeting Mystery Guy sounds like it could be a safety concern since she's meeting a strange guy. 😯

I'm glad that Ezra called out Bea about her godforsaken mystery man. Joe has every right to feel paranoid that Bea is seeing some else. Poor guy. 😞

It's great that Terrence is being so supportive of Ezra, but it has already been established that Terrence is a sweet person and boyfriend. 😊

When we stepped out of our own story and into others, we would be these laughing, excited, fearless kids.

Ezra made a really good point with this thought/idea.

I hope that Ezra calls out Bea wrt her shitty treatment of Joe in his next e-mail to her.

Something that I don't like about Bea so far is that she made some pretty big mistakes in her relationship with Joe. I don't like how she referred to him as boring in her e-mail to Ezra. 😞😑 She showed some awareness of her missteps from what I could tell.

I can screw everything up out here, with no one to see but me, and you know what? The world doesn’t end. It keeps right on going and so do I.

There's something that I love about this quote from Bea. 🙂

It's very sad that Bea felt like her life didn't matter much to her mother. 😔

I'm glad that Bea is opening up to Ezra about what her life is like now. Also, I'm relieved that Ezra is safe.

Just like the beginning of One For All, this book began in an emotionally heavy way. It's well written and I'm really enjoying the e-mail format. 🙂

Ganska skulle det vara bea som sitter i en dålig situation. Men jag tror att ez är den som gett upp först. Han nämner ofta när bea berättat något revolutionerande att han inte riktigt känner några känslor. Vilket kan bero på hans ensamhet utan bea eller att han helt enkelt gett upp

Breven som Beas pappa skrev påminner väldigt mycket om hennes mail konversation med ez. Istället för mail så skickade dem brev. Även fast det kanske endast var en part som skickade blir det ändå en liknelse vad dem håller på med nu.

Probably would have read this in one sitting if I didn't desperately need to sleep! So far so good!

Jag är halvvägs in i boken men är fortfarande osäker hur jag ska utvärdera den än. Något jag verkligen saknar i boken är beskrivning av karaktärerna. En del av läsning är att man är helt blind med ögat och måste själv arbeta med hjärnan för att få en karaktärsuppfattning. Vad boken saknar är en vägledning för detta vilket gör det svårt att föreställa hur karaktärerna ser ut.

Helt okej, gillade konceptet när jag hörde om bokens upplägg men börjar gilla det mindre och mindre. Ändå bra bok men har svårt att gå en uppfattning om hur karaktärerna ser ut

now things are getting more interesting 👀

I feel that this is a slow-paced book, but I'm looking forward to knowing more about Bea's story. for now, I'm on Ezra's side...
