Status Updates From Take Me With You When You Go

I appreciated how both Franco and Patch called out Bea wrt tendency to run and to hurt people. She needed to have both of those things brought to her attention.

I'm in suspense about Ezra's next move. I know that he's up to something that has to do with Joe, but Idk what he's up to yet. Although it's tempting to read ahead and spoil things for myself, I won't do that.

This dialogue from Franco is sweet and touching. It's obvious that he cares about Bea a lot. 😊❤

One of Bea's chapters that I finished in this sitting was a little philosophical at times. That was cool to read about. 🙂

I just read about something heavy that made me feel even worse for Bea and Ezra. Poor kiddos. 😣😢

I'm glad that Bea communicated with Franco when it was necessary, especially since he and Irene were so kind to her. It's clear that Bea felt gracious about their kindness and hospitality. 🙂

It's good that Bea is even *thinking* and daydreaming about college, considering her formerly shitty circumstances.

I don't understand why she referred to herself as a "Manson girl". That confused me. I'm guessing it might be because she's a runaway. 🤔

There will come a time, soon, when I am going to have to throw my words at her. Because that, more than any silence, is what she should be carrying with her right now.

Ezra's mother has been permissive of Darren's god awful and violent behavior. 😢😡 Hopefully Ezra will give her an earful eventually.

I saw Darren's name in the next chapter. All I can say about that is: shit, shit, SHIT. I'm going to hold off on reading that chapter because I'm not in the mood to read about Darren being terrible and/or abusive. 😔

I love this quote because I agree with it wholeheartedly. This dialogue made me feel bad for Patch, though, since his father doesn't listen to him. I can relate to that feeling for sure. 😞

Definitely gonna write in this format one day.

I really love the depth and the development in Ezra and Terrence's romantic relationship. It's beautifully written.

I'm not sure why this book has an overall rating of 3.84 stars on this website. I'm enjoying it so much. 😊

Welp, reading about Sloane's perspective on Bea's mistakes was a *LOT* to take in. Sloane was merciless about Bea during her conversation Ezra. I don't think she (meaning Sloane) understood Bea or the hardships in her life. 😣

I get why this line has been quoted a lot because it's a great line, especially now that I understand the context behind it. This line is very fitting for the situation that Bea is currently involved in.
