I dunno, I'm getting the feeling there's a ghost writer involved. I used to love her works, but lately it's all either alpha male bullshit or dumb as a rock heroines.

The catalysts (reasons and actions alike) for the climax of the stories get more boring and too forced, by the day. It all feels unnatural and none of it is usually a misunderstanding that COULD happen.

How old is this couple? If their parents are 70 and 75 they definitely don't act like they're in their 40s the average age you'd expect. If the elderly couple were their grandparents that'd make sense. So confusing.
