Status Updates From The Authenticity Project

My prediction in the addition of characters was correct and i am so happy about it . The book is so real and gives so many amazing details to think about. It makes me think of Brofenbrenner’s theory of how everyone is connected and how peoples relationships affect each other.

I love it, I love it, I love it already!!!!
Although it’s a bit creepy when it feels like someone has pulled the thoughts out of your brain and you can see them on paper in front of you…

This was such a fun story! I love the relationships that develop among the characters as time goes on.

Love each character and can relate to each of them, if even in a small way. I'm just getting back into reading and this feel-good, gem of a book does not disappoint.

I love it! The mix in perspectives the full circle of the characters’ meetings in so intrigued to continue reading it

And I think I am going to love this book.

i’m crying i love them so much

Ok start so far, although it seems like it might be a kind of surface-level take on the tired (and false) idea of ‘increasing social disconnect because of [insert latest technology]’. What brought me up short and is making it hard to keep going is a tiny throwaway line about how she’s named Monica and how her parents—in 1981—were bucking the trend of “Emily, Sophie, and Olivia”. I’m sorry, what? 1981?
