ok so this is one of the darkest and heaviest things ive ever read and its absolutely beautiful.

This will rip your heart out.

The verse in this book don’t feel like poetry, but that doesn’t take away from it. Unlike a lot of true crime media, this book isn’t voyeuristic or exploitive. It truly focuses on the victims instead of elevating perpetrators. They’re humanized, so they’re not just a victim. After each piece, we see the names of the victims and phone numbers for agencies working on their cases.
