Ah, it was only a few pages, but it's still progress!

I was hoping to get this book finished before I had to return it, but obviously that didn't happen so I am going to temporarily DNF this book for a bit until I can check it out and read it again.

Honestly, Tizrah’s story is not my favorite of the cities of refuge series. But the vulnerability and heart behind each character is beautiful. The plot is well thought out and it’s fun to see a woman play such an important role for God’s kingdom!

And just like that… I’m locked into yet another one of her books 🙌🏼

Re-reading this one after finishing the rest of this series. I first read it a few years ago and loved it. Curious to see how my thoughts and opinions have changed now that I'm a bit older.

This book made it really hard to stop reading and go to bed last night. It’s so hard to put down!

Does the author know that women were not to go into battle? That this goes against God's word. The main character is in rebellion. Not liking this book at all.

I still have less than a hundred pages left and my brain is contemplating if it should start burning the midnight oil. I read what I want today 😂. my brain need to save it's energy for the rollercoaster of a ride tomorrow so it can savor the climax.

Also on a another note, does anyone find Charles Dickens' writing a bit hard to understand especially the tale of two cities.

Gotta say, this might be the first Connilyn Cossette book I’m not particularly thrilled with! But still, I love all her other stuff! :)

Very good! As with most authors, each book has the same format. But I like this one a lot more than I thought I would!!! I don’t relate to tirzah in being that I’m more similar to Shira or Kiya’s characters but I still love it! Only halfway through but so much has happened, I’m curious what will happen next!

I could only find the large print version in the library 😂

I am so excited for this book! I didn't realize until I started reading that Liyam was Alana's son. Tirzah is already such a strong heroine. Her and Liyam have suffered such loss and I look forward to watching them grow and see how God brings healing. I also look forward to seeing Alana & Moriyah reunite.

The plot is sooo good! This is probably one of my favorites from this author.
