He goes to school n grows to 17, has 2 love interests that don’t work. He’s graduated and is now going back to Peggotty to find what he wants to do w life. He finds Steerforth in Suffolk

David was stayin w the Micawbers, whom ended up having to stay in the prison due to Mr. Mic’s debts. I grew attached to the family in just 2 chapters and was sad to see them move out of London. David is planning on running to Aunt Betseys n not working anymore. The guy helping him w his box tried turning him into the ‘pollis’

Mrs Copperfield died, as well as her child w Murdstone. David returned from school and was much neglected by the Murdstones. He stayed w the Peggotys and Peggoty herself, who was married to Mr Barkis. Mr Quinion proposed for David to go to London to work for the company that Murdstone and Quinion help manage

Davey was unsuccessful in his teachings bc the Murdstones make him so nervous. Mr Murdstone beat him bc of it and Davey bit his hand, resulting in Davey being locked in his room for 5 days. He then finds out from Peggotty he’s being sent away from school. His mom is way too childish and lets Murdstone run the shit

Davy went to Peggotty’s and met her family and little Emily, whom he fell in love with. They lived in a boat on land and he walked around w Emily all the time. After a fortnite he returned home to find that his mother had married Mr. Murdlestone. Davy was not pleased

Mr. Murdstone has come into the picture, becoming very invested in Miss. Copperfields life. Mr. Murdstone takes Davy to the yacht club to moss with his friends. Peggotty asks davy to come with her to her brothers, but I feel like it’s a ploy set up by his mom and Murdstone to get rid of him for some reason.. fishy?
