Yeah, I've always wondered what the Kittisaurus cats actually think of the stuff they're put through for funny cat videos. They don't seem mistreated or anything, but I figure it's something akin to being abducted by oddly curious aliens.

Finally moved into my house enough to enjoy some reading time!

I'm 50 pages in and can't stop laughing

(needed a little peek after the letdown of The Giver, even just a few pages)

I so relate to these couple of pages, from the marvelous “If you can't win, start playing a different game and score just as many points.” to the windows into her diary world and more... Allie Brosh is a genius. <3

Oh this is a lot heavier than ever expected.

I was not expecting trauma. These are the books I pick up.

Brosh is a genius, there's no way around it. This book is at once poignant and tragic, funny and heart-breaking, real and surreal -- and for how many of us is such a colorful dance along the precipice of madness all too familiar?

And trying really hard when you don’t know what you’re doing just happens to be the exact recipe for acting like a fuckin’ weirdo." (362)

I continue to enjoy the author's exploration of vatious topics. I find myself laughing out loud at her pictures, dialogue, and the situations she describes.

This book is surprisingly heavy, but then it's the first and only illustrated non fiction book I've ever read. Her insights are interesting, eloquent, and often humerous.
