After waiting years for this book, I tried downloading it on my iPad as it’s not physically published in AUS yet. Apple kept getting an error. I contacted support and then got another error. Tried again the next day. Error said to call support. They’re only open until 8pm AEST. Called at 7:34pm. They meant AEDT as of last week. So I downloaded Booktopia’s app and here we are.

Still funny. Great illustrations. Can't beat the style for showing confusion.

I’m already fucking laughing

This book is thick and heavy. I think I'm getting bored of the humor. I have to finish this based off of principal but man... It feels like this is just going on too long now. Its like reading the starless sea all over again but this time there truly is no plot! Its just random nonsense! Random occasionally relatable nonsense!

Dandelions are scary for the simple fact that they are LIONS who, in large numbers, will gang up on you and consume your flesh and inner organs while you are still alive, resulting in a horrible and painful death. However irrational, I commend that kiddo for making the connection with her minimal grasp on language. No wonder she was freaked out! I mean, lions are lions, right?

I wasn't sure if she could outdo "Hyperbole," but oh my gosh. She's got me rolling.

I know this book throws dark later, but I can't breathe from laughing too hard right now.

Oof. That dedication.

I read until it stopped making sense because it was so late.

Wish I could give a 3.5 rating. Love the combination drawing and written word format, laughed out loud several times, but some essays were the kind of disturbing that sticks with me.

I love this so much.

Thank God for this book. Seriously, so hilarious, absolutely worth the wait. Amazing.

I could finish this tonight but I don't want to, it is just so good and so funny I want to savour it.

So I'm a terrible person. Most of these stories I don't think are funny or make sense. A few a hilarious and a couple are very poignant. Mostly disappointed so far though 🙈
