My favorite section today was the "Mystery Poop" chapter where the family is trying to figure out why they wake up to horse poop every day in the house. I just read this part that absolutely destroyed me, and just as soon after Allie Brosh made me laugh again. Her first book was one of the most refreshing things I have ever read. And now years later, I still have the privilege of reading her writing and feeling a little less alone. Like there's someone there who gets it. It makes me happy and sad at the same time, but there's something comforting about that combo.

Her chapter about dandelions was ridiculously hilarious. The part where she talks about her sister dying is abrupt, short, & extremely relatable. I knew at some point it was coming, but the place she put it in the book just jumps out at you. It is not its own chapter, it’s part of another one & I really liked that. “ sometimes all you can really do is keep moving and hope you end up somewhere that makes sense”

I'm dying, I love Allie 🥺

I think this book weight like 12 pounds. I love it.

Allie brosh is laugh out loud funny. Read this, then go back & read hyperbole and a half. Dogs, neighbors, kid logic, fear....

This book is hilarious and such an easy read. The illustrations are spot on and it is so relatable.

Took a break from this but back at it. Allie gets it. Sometimes it feels like she’s in my head.

I plodded a little further into this but after the first few chapters it's . . . not as funny??

Difficult to read when very drunk. Want to learn about cat story, too drunk for cat story. Tried so so hard to read cats, cannot fathom cats being squirrels. Cats not squirrels, will save for sober me. Not good chapter for after zoom drinking during covid epidemic, but if someone read it to me i would love chapter

I love it! Its nice to get a break from serious books or the seriousness of life and delve into this book

I’m making slow progress on this book but I am really enjoying it. I’m just having trouble staying motivated to read right now. Maybe it’s a pandemic thing.

Settling in for a long haul leisurely tour through relatable weirdness (with pets).

We enjoyed her previous book, Hyperbole and a Half, which was faster, more intense -- at least IIRC and as it seems thus far.

I can't stop laughing already. 😂
