Read part 1 yesterday. I was already having bad anxiety before this. Then I just get told how my worry will cause health problems, make me ugly, and will make me die young. Im pausing here and switching to a fluffy romance book until my anxiety is fixed or this book will make it worse.

Baru 55 halaman aja kayanya aku bakal merubah banyak cara berteman. Apalagi prinsip paling pertama,

Preface:
- Reread the book/chapters as you will forgot key points.
- Use the points in daily life to make them useful and effective
- The book is pointless if you have no desire to change

Live day to day! If you have worry always remember ask yourself “what is the worst that can happen?” Mentally accept it(easier said than done) and work on your next steps.
Will take time to have this accomplished, but it will get easier in time.

Chapter 1-Live in Day-Tight Compartments
"Take no thought for the morrow"
"One step enough for me"
"One grain of sand at a time-one task at a time"
"Every day is a new life to a wise man"
"Life, we learn too late, is in the living"
"My life has been so full terrible misfortunes most of which never happened"

Well I finished the preface. Barely on page 3 if I’m literal.

So far a lot of practical and new advice. The book is taking a more conversational tone. I appreciate how the author is saying he isn't an expert and still needs to read the book to remember his own tricks. Feels very relatable in that sense.

the earlier chapters are good but i really dont like the constant comparisons to disabled people as the reason you should snap out of worrying. like i understand your audience is able bodied middle class people who should be grateful for being able bodied middle class people but its truly unbearable to slog through. but thats just me.
