I like the idea of a fictional novel about climate change. But I'm finding that there is a lot of scientific jargon - or maybe pseudo-scientific. I'm not science-minded so I'm definitely not going to analyze whether or not the stuff is possible but I find myself re-reading paragraphs just to get a general idea of what they are proposing. That makes it feel less like a casual read and more like an educational read.

I like these characters and I like this story but it is a slog. and I slogged through the first two but I've gotta give up on this one for this season. Probably something to finish in winter. I wonder what will happen to little Joe. This series should be a new version of the West Wing.
