Two of the main characters are going backpacking just a little north of where I was last autumn equinox, up to the Sierra crest in eastern Kings Canyon National Park. It's pour rain here in San Francisco, and I'm at least two months from scratching this itch for snowmelt crashing down glacier-scoured canyons. Yeah, I'm liking this sequel quite a bit more than the first two.
