The plot for secret soldier is world war 2 and it is from the US point of view

Right now i am currently in the climax of my book I am surprised I enjoyed this book because at the start it seemed pretty just informational and it still is but I enjoy it.

The author uses detail by "The Twenty-Third's vehicles arrived in a large wooded transit area" (Janeczko 180).

This engaged me because it was talking about a war.

My author used flashback in my book.

This character in the book lied about his age. to become a coal miner. I disagree with his decision to lie about his age because lying is wrong.

I like how the book is about WW2. It is starting off slow though.

Too slow. Too repetitive. The information is interesting. I just don’t need to read about the logistics of every single time they set up a camp the same way.

I had no idea this group existed during WWII. While the topic was interesting, the book didn’t hold my attention. It was well written but maybe better for people who find was or combat fascinating. It was intriguing to hear about a few of the troops who went on to become famous actors and artists- Douglas Fairbanks, Bill Blass, etc....

This history has real potential but it is being presented in such soporific and roundabout ways I am having a really hard time getting through this. Maybe I should quit and beg Nathan Hale to do a Hazardous Tale version. I mean, a group of actors and sound techs and artists who were going around trying to fool the Nazis seems like something right up his alley.
