oh wow i love the plot and the setting and the characters and practically everything at this point

oh wow the world building is really good! and i love the writing style!

oh wow i did not expect things to happen this fast and i really don’t know what might happen from here (ok i might have an idea but i have no clue how it would happen!)

not very far in but i’m so interested! i can definitely see this being an easy read and i’m so excited!

It’s so full of nostalgia I love it so much! I went to go see the original Mulan just to come back with an even fresher memory of all the sweet events that happened!🙌🏽❤️

This is turning out to be a perfect Halloween season read with all it's ghosts and demons of the underworld. Kinda creepy if you really picture it. It's descriptive and well written and original. I'm really enjoying this story more than the previous three. I've always liked Mulan so this is a fun, alternative tale of hers.

Amazing, I loved it

Mulan has descended into the underworld to save Shang. I'm loving the Chinese folklore of Diyu, something I had never heard of before. Mythology and folklore is so interesting to me, though, how different cultures have similar beliefs but call them by different names. I'm enjoying this way more than I thought I would. Before reading, the idea of the story made no sense to me. I'm glad I didn't skip it!

I'm liking this one a lot more than the previous three. Maybe because it's a different writer. I feel like they took complaints into consideration. The story was almost right from the get-go a new story, not a novelization of the movie for the first 25%.

This is probably my favorite one of the Twisted Tales I've read so far.

It is so interesting how I was dealing with some similar internal, personal struggles about my identity (still kind of figuring that out) and this book is reflecting off of me, I guess. Maybe I out that wrong. Anyway, I really enjoyed this read. There were a lot of the times I wished they animated this as well.

“My, my, what beautiful blooms we have this year… But look, this one is late. I bet when it blooms, it will be the most beautiful of all.”

Needed this reminded after feeling a bit in a depressive mood this weekend.

It's starting to get sad, but excited to read even more and see what happens next.

Mulan is the coolest Disney princess. Change my mind.

I love how so far the book doesn't slow down and how the main character has to go through a lot of conflicts.

I am loving all of the suspense that is happening.

I actually love this book already. I was hoping for some Chinese mythologies, traditions and I got it. I love this, I know it’s going to be a great book

Mulan is in the underworld now trying to get Shang back, I am excited if she is able to accomplish that or not and be stuck in the underworld.

Shang just learned the truth about Mulan.

The conversation that Milan and Shang just had a couple pages before reminded me of “She’s the Man” a whole lot. 😂
