Status Updates From How to Take Smart Notes

We don't have to start from nothing if we have already a well maintained notes on the topic in which you are interested even you lose interest on them you have other topics in your notes. Which gonna show you the new topic and all ready some material on which you can work.So you don't have to do the brainstorm you have already written down it somewhere. It makes the writing easy.

The only thing that has irked me really is that they don't mention Rosalynd Franklin when they talk about Watson and Crick.

Very interesting, but sentences are complicated for me, as I usually read only IT technical books, so it takes time.

Okay really I appreciate all the research that went into the benefits of this type of note-taking, but I would *really* like to read about implementation techniques...if this doesn't get practical soon I might bail.

I forgot this book was about Zettelkasten at one point... But it's informative.

Recently I hace been questioning a lot about my slightly chaotic-thinking nature. I have this borderline uncontrollable (and oh so satisfying) impulso to over reach and maybe over document things that burns down time efficiency. It is not useless at all - I learn a lot - but usefull... not so, too. The system described here fells like the perfect indulgence, and promises to super charge productivity too

Has shattered some of my founding beliefs n behaviors.

Learning about this method and the evidence behind it makes one think there must be something. The only issue I see thus far is the required effort to make them.

我在写文档时，总会另建一个名叫“XX剩余部分.doc”的文档，当我需要删掉一些用不着的内容时，就会把这些内容复制到这个文档中，告诉自己之后会再审读它们，并且把它们用到其他合适的地方。当然，我从来没有再看过这些文档，但这样做确实让我修改草稿时更容易了。其他略懂心理学的人也是这样做的(Thaler,2015)。

重要的是，你的脑海中不要只有几个思维模型，而是要有大量的思维模型。否则，你就有可能过于执着于一两个模型，而只能看到适合它们的东西，就会变成谚语里说的“拿着个锤子看什么都像钉子”那样的人(Maslow,1966)。

[...] writing these notes is the main work. It will take enormous amounts of effort, time, patience and willpower, and you will probably break under the weight of this task. Just kidding. It is the easiest part of all. Writing these notes is also not the main work. Thinking is. Reading is. Understanding and coming up with ideas is. And this is how it is supposed to be. The notes are just the tangible outcome of it.

So far so good. Really interesting ideas on Learning theory. He sold me on the Zettlekasten system for sure, I just wish there was more instruction on how to effectively start and maintain a Zettlekasten notes system.

I wish I had this explanation of note-taking and natural ways of thinking when I was in grad school. It would have made all the difference.
