Still marvelous! The setting, the characters, no clear-cut plot. I can't wait to see what is going to happen.

This is really, really good so far. Like, wow, I have such high expectations now.

And finally we’re into the part with demons. Took longer than I thought (but I’m enjoying this anyway).

I was never really bored with this book, but I am definitely not bored now. The pace picked up a lot about 2/3 through. Now I can't tear myself away.

This book isn't really what I expected. I thought it would have a lot of sensory imagery, like describing the smell of flowers, etc. Instead it's mostly about the two main characters worrying about what other people think of them, and hating each other (they're sisters). There isn't much romance, supernatural stuff, or action so far. But I'm curious what's going to happen next.

Love this so far. But I do have a weakness for sisters-at-odds narratives.
