I chose this book cos of the title and the author's name. Mainly cos Vale and "I" will fulfill 2 challenge requirements. And cos my aunt & uncles used to call me Lani until I asked them to stop and now I kind of miss it. But I'm not sure if either of those reasons will be enough for me to finish.
I don't like any of the characters yet and the writing style bothers me. I'm going to stick with it for now.
