Unethical relationships in an academic research environment threaten the validity of results and the professional reputations of profs and grad students. IF this all gets out!

Good book for rainy retreat—a weather cancellation or two have been necessary.

Elihu Hoopes is not the only “subject” in need of psychological assistance in this book. The researcher, Margot Sharpe, has quite a constellation of serious personal, as well as professional, issues. I’m pretty well hooked.

The sample for this book grabbed me so hard that after just 20 pages I bought it—no need to finish the sample. I’m taking this to Wildacres.

Somewhat repetitive so far, which I suppose is apt given the subject matter (one of the central characters is an amnesiac who can only remember either things that happened before his accident or the previous 70 seconds)
