You have to give extra credit to a book that makes you picture accurately how the universe would look if you were travelling near light speed.

The book was published a couple of years ago, but regarding our nearest star, Proxima Centauri, it's outdated: it says that system doesn't have planets. Just last year they confirmed it has at least a planet, and in the Goldilocks zone.
