What is making this book difficult to enjoy is Mira. She sounds like a HUGE fucking bitch who blames her sister when her sister is TELLING HER that these weird loser men she keeps “falling in love” with are very blatantly using and manipulating her, and Mira is such a dumb bitch she actually tries to defend them and throws hissy fits. She is INSUFFERABLE and I’m glad she’s dead fr jfc

Whew!!! This book kept me on my toes, BIG TIME! The story behind the title is all that and so much more. When you think you know, you don't! This was a breath of fresh air after reading a couple not-so-good books lately. I highly recommend this book. Thank you to Netgalley for the ARC!

I'm already struggling with how unrealistic the characters are. The cops slacking off on a serial killer? The female lead being able to stumble her way into an elite serial killer support group when the FBI and cops couldn't? Her being able to access the dark web concisely with ease from some notes her friend read up on. It all is too illogical to sink into the book in earnest.

Oh my god I love it when a book just gets right to the point and doesn’t have a meandering opening. I have such high hopes for this
