Me está gustando aunque voy un poco despacio porque es el primer libro que leo en inglés!! pero aún así estoy feliz porque lo estoy entendiendo todo y me está gustando

This book. Im 25 pages in and i relate so much to this book. Cancer reoccurrence. Its beautiful and its bold...absolutely in love with it so far!

Cannot put it down. Find myself sobbing, then laughing at the same time. Beautifully written!

I doubt the author anticipated Kevin Spacey being charged with multiple accounts of sexual assault when she discusses having an affair with him (more or less.)
And it’s interesting that she mentions Alex Trebek in her book about terminal cancer, now that he’s announced that he has stage 4 terminal pancreatic cancer.

Two celebrity names have been mentioned that made me cringe, which is probably not the same reaction a reader would have in 2015 when the book was released.

I don’t really get the rave reviews on this one. It’s okay. But I don’t really find it cute that a grown man is so incompetent that his wife feels he needs another woman to look after him, so it’s hard to get into the rest.

Couldn’t finish it.

She goes to visit her husband at work and brings him muffins and realizes that he is in denial about her dying. Then, she recounts a story about her getting advice from her best friend that turned out to be wrong when she was in eighth grade, but decides to try her advice about finding Jack a new wife at a book store.

Jack attempts to take Daisy out to a romantic dinner, but she is skeptical of him trying to be romantic because he hasn't been romantic in the past, so she refuses to go with him. Then, her mom comes to visit her to accompany her to get her stent put in to help with her jaundice. We also learn a lot about her mom and how she did not keep the house clean and she wasn't really a good mom.

Daisy attends a ball where her husband receives an award, even though her skin is stained orange from jaundice. While she is there, she continues to look for a new wife for her husband. Then, she goes to yoga and realizes she is mad at her best friend for not stopping by since she told her about her worse diagnosis. Then, she passes out and throws up at yoga.

I honestly can’t make myself finish this book. Sorry, friends.

Dreading the ending more and more as I go on ..

why did i decide to read four books at once but at least I made my goal for the day 😭

While this book isn't perfect I really like it so far. The narrator pulled me in and I feel like this will be a quick read. One possibly full of tears
