I hope this book gets better. It's so horrible.

Primero, podemos hablar de lo preciosa que es la portada??
Un chico que trabajaba en la libreria me recomendó a esta autora (aunque yo ya conocía el libro) porque le fascinaba la franqueza y falta de tapujos en el estilo de la escritura de las autoras latinoamericanas como ella. Realmente sorprendente, aún cuando venía sobre aviso.

It’s a good book, and I assumed it would be a short read, but boy is it gruesome. On purpose, but I don’t think I really prepared myself for what all was to come.
I’m nearing the end now, so I’m interested to see how it plays out, but I definitely have needed to take breaks because of how sickening it is. See you later for an update!

these sentences are so damn long

it’s not badly written and the premise/execution is actually fascinating; however, i am a quarter of the way through it and the author has described the main characters first meeting three different times. It will be a quick read, but it’s dragging because it’s all repetition so far (and not in an interesting way)

This story is kind of ducked up no lie

Im reading in The original Spanish as much as possible so it’s taken me almost a month to go 20 pages. I’m learning all kinds of slang words for everything from drinks to balls. It’s been a bit of a rough time. I’m not entirely sure this is a book I’m going to like, so I may switch to English to save myself some bother
