Cute, starting to really love the MMC but nothing really major happening that makes me feel this is a five star showstopper..

Cute so far, picked this book up in a charity shop and it was clearly unread. Loving the twist at the beginning- if I'd read the blurb properly I'd have known it was coming though, so that's on me. Really like the style that it's just from her POV too, like I don't mind when it's two POV switching through chapters but I also love this 1 POV.

accidentally just read the last page trying to see how many pages there were and ruined the whole book (already guessed it tho tbf)

this is one of the books i picked up for £3 in the works i can’t lie, on the back it said for lovers of emily henry, who is my favourite author, so i grabbed it because i love a good romance. so far im not? feeling it? but nothing has truly happened yet but ive hardly made a dent in the book, so im prepared to read more in the hopes it improves …

Great tbh. Trying to get back into Romcom since I got into Fantasy. The straight into death feels familiar because of Fantasy lol

3.5⭐️ it was a cute, clean, summer romance of love, loss and recovery. The development of our fmc as things come to light through her grief and her crush on a guy develops she explores her feelings. It’s a book I read in one sitting that is adorable and ivy is a sweetheart

let’s just say, this is NOT comparable to emily henry despite what it says on the back cover. i was getting through it fast but the build up to this kiss scene was terrible and the jokes have been ran through, like why are you repeating the same thing every chapter. no hate to millennials but it’s definitely target to them, not necessarily the worst but i need the next 200 odd pages to be better
